This is going to get a little complicated so prepare yourself since I am going to be combining many strategies that you can use to drive traffic to your website. Forget what you have been tough about driving traffic because many of the ‘secrets‘ you are told are there for you to buy there affiliate products. There are no purchases necessary here; everything is free if you want it to be.

Don't think your site is going to be showing on Google any time soon because I have news for you; it is not. If your site is new, then that is not only a little bit true, it is a fact that Google has a time requirement to even be indexed for any key phrase or word. Don’t fall for the product that says that it will bring you to the top in no time, because there is no such thing. Sure there are products that will assist in the process, but that’s not what we want right now. We want traffic and we want it now, not in 2 years from now. In any case, since Google is out of reach ' at the moment' we are going to focus on driving traffic to our sites without any paid ads, ezine advertising and other risky methods that will burn a nice hole in your wallet.

Here is a combination of methods you can use to drive traffic to your site and make sure you have a continual amount of traffic coming to your site all the time.

1. Create a blog and make sure you post to it every single day with relevant posts or have someone else post in it. This will cost more but if you are lazy then nobody can help you.

2. Create an auto responder account to catch subscribers. I recommend getresponse.com Notice I did not even use an affiliate URL. That is because they really are quality.

3. Create a "squeeze page" so you can capture email addresses and add them to a mailing list. This is very important when it comes to creating a loyal list of prospects that can come to your site over and over again when you have fresh content to offer. You can do this buy giving away a free E-book or E-course. Place the code for your auto responder on this page so you can capture the subscriptions and send emails to them.

3. Create a nice series of messages that your new subscribers receive, teaching them something, or update for some reason or another about your website. Be creative; just make sure you tell them to visit your site every day for the best info. Make sure also not to spam or your list will be blacklisted or your subscriber will just opt-out.

4. Write articles and take add a link to the see page and the blog in the article signature. This will gather subscribers and also send people directly to your site.

5. Forum posting is a good passive way of increasing traffic to your website. Despite what many people say, if you add a link to your site in your signature and just post to ad content and learn, you will see your traffic increase. Do the same thing you did with the article signature,

6. Use traffic exchanges. Now, you may think this is dumb and a waste of time, but that is because you are uneducated in the world of traffic exchanges. All you have to do is join about 7 or 8 of the best ones and surf them all at the same time using the Firefox browser. This browser has a special function that allows you to keep each site in a separate tab allowing you to surf multiple traffic exchanges simply and easily. Make sure that you keep with the terms of the traffic exchange and attempt to read the sites that you land on, like I do.

Now you know one of many combinations of strategies to get traffic to your site. It is not rocket science, nor is it some horribly impossible task. It is hard work in the beginning though so the sooner you start the better chance you will have at generating larger amounts of traffic then you do now.
